Many hypertensive patients discontinue drug therapy despite the increasedcardiovascular risk associated with inadequately controlled hypertension.However, most experiments do not address this premature discontinuationof therapy, making it difficult to project the appropriateness ofantihypertensive drugs in real-world use.
